The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. From the thousands of entries, CCI was recognized with a Platinum award for our work on behalf of LORD Corporation for the Solar Market PR Campaign, and an Honorable Mention award for our work on behalf of the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program for the 2009-2010 CIM Annual Report.

August 14th, 2011CCI President Kimberly Kayler was asked to take part in a panel discussion at the Construction Writers Association’s annual conference on Oct. 25 in San Antonio, Texas. Titled “Writing for the Web,” the session was comprised of four panelists with 10-minute remarks about a distinct slice of the broad topic. Kayler spoke specifically on the topic of social media.
